Open Thursdays - Sundays! Text or Call for $1/Minute Reiki & Massage
Hi, I’m Kerryanna Reynolds, and for nearly 25 years I’ve been on a quest to “be the change I wish to see in the world.” This pursuit of a more peaceful, harmonious, and balanced culture — one that honors and respects all beings — has led me to discover tremendous joy in helping others find healing and calm in their own lives.
Through bodywork, energy work, and life coaching, I’ve discovered that supporting others’ well-being brings me the same peace I hope to cultivate in the world.
Reiki, meditation, and breathwork have become integral to my daily life as a mother, daughter, wife, volunteer, and professional. These practices continually guide me toward greater awareness, balance, and vitality — and they are the foundation of the healing space I offer to others.
I received formal training in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, as well as Reiki I and II, at Loving Hands Institute in 2024. I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing coursework there and through mentorship with the gifted massage therapist Mo-Ching Yip.
At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to nurture wellness, inner peace, and energetic balance — so that the peace we cultivate within can ripple outward into a more peaceful world.
In Irish, Anam Cara means “soul friend” — someone you can trust with your whole self, who sees and accepts all of who you are.
That’s the space I strive to create at Anam Cara Wellness. Whether you’re on my massage table releasing physical tension, receiving Reiki to shift stuck energy, or exploring your vision for the next chapter of your life in a coaching session, my goal is to be a trusted presence supporting your highest good.
The name also honors the deep healing I experienced during my visit to Ireland in 2025. Though my grandparents on both sides were U.S. citizens, mine is a story of the Irish diaspora. My lineage is nearly entirely Irish, and exploring the history and traditions of my ancestors has been a meaningful path of reconnection — one that continues to inspire and guide my work with others.
Reiki is a gentle yet powerful healing practice that supports balance and well-being on all levels — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. The word Reiki comes from Japanese: Rei meaning “universal” or “spiritual,” and Ki meaning “life energy.” Together, they describe the universal life force that flows through all living things.
I practice Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki, a lineage of Reiki that honors the original teachings of Mikao Usui while incorporating the refined, higher-frequency energy of Holy Fire®. This energy is deeply loving, intelligent, and healing — it can do no harm. Reiki always flows for the highest good of the person receiving it, and it works in harmony with their own body, mind, and spirit.
During a session, Reiki is shared through light touch or by holding the hands just above the body. Clients often describe the experience as calming, peaceful, or restorative — but each session is unique. Some feel warmth, tingling, or emotional release, others simply feel deeply relaxed or more centered. Some feel the presence of their spirit guides. However it unfolds, Reiki helps restore harmony and reminds the body of its amazing natural capacity to heal.
I accept cash and Venmo for my services.
My rate is $1/minute to keep sessions accessible, with the option to add gratuity if you’re able.
I recommend 60–90 minutes for a full experience, though shorter sessions are available (20 minutes or less are typically done on a chair).
I also welcome trades.
I am currently available Thursdays-Sundays at my office near the Arcata Marsh. I am also available for house calls Mondays-Wednesdays. I look forward to connecting with you!
